   Hello to all Ashton Mashers, I am trying to contact a good friend from my past. She was a Canadian girl staying in Ashton, first on Hadfield Crescent and then on Tauton Road.    I'm trying to contact Karl Goddard. He is in the Royal Engineers and some time around June last year started working at the embassy in Washington. Before he went to Washington he was living in Dukinfield and his family lived in Dukinfield and Stalybridge. In January this year I saw him listed in the New Years Honours List and read that he had been awarded an MBE. I would love to be able to pass on my congratulations to Karl. I only knew him for a short while before he went to Washington but in that short time I feel I knew him enough to say that I'm sure he truely deserves this honour. Unfortunately I no longer have contact details for Karl so if any of his friends or family see this notice I would be grateful if you would pass on my congratulations and my email address to Karl.
