Soap: Gail stuck in her ways and her foot spa
Rachel Broady30/ 9/2005
CORONATION STREET Having split up over
Charlie's kiss, Violet is homeless and Jason is jobless and we can
only hope that they go the way of Damon and Debbie but without the
unnecessary spin-off.
And while love may be on the cards elsewhere, as Jamie proposes to
Leanne (but she's already wed one wooden himbo!), when Leanne's
mobile phone ends up in Frankie's hands all Hell breaks loose when
Danny calls...
Meanwhile, Phil the foot fetishist is trying to befriend Gail again
after his kiss with Eileen. It's funny, now I think about it I'd
assume Gail would have the more appealing trotters but I'm not a
specialist like him. He tells Gail that Eileen is insensitive -
then gives her a foot spa and asks her out! You'll laugh out loud
when Jason pours quick drying cement into it as she dozes off in
the garden. She'll be proper stuck in her ways for once.
EMMERDALE Robert intends to leave the village with
Max and Debbie but - after dumping Debbie - fights Andy, gets into
a strop and drives his car at his brother with tragic consequences.
Don't assume that means he misses.
Robert speeds at Andy's Land Rover - with Max now sitting inside
also - watches his brother's car plough through a wall and then
burst into flames. Oops. He should've just got a gun which is, of
course, Andy's weapon of choice when confronting family
members.
Val, meanwhile, does intend to confess to Rodney about her thieving
ways but, well, doesn't. She instead lets her own son to take the
blame rather than admit she needs help to see off the bailiffs. At
least she's consistent.
And poor snobby Nicola may never be able to leave the house again
now that Simon is a bin man. So? Now he smells of rubbish rather
than fish. Besides, if she knew he was into keeping Emmerdale clean
why didn't she offer him a job?
EASTENDERS Some Cockneys scream at each other
while suffering from depression and dealing with imprisonment and
death, this includes Billy and Peggy as they attempt to prove Sam's
innocence.
