Soapbox: Dirty Dev is a dad again! And again and . . .
Rachel Broady11/11/2005
CORONATION STREET Dull Carol is sober - until
she has a go at Leanne so Janice buys her a double vodka - then she
hits rock bottom and finally admits she's an alcoholic.
But when she goes to Alcoholics Anonymous, I think Dev should be in
the next room at Dads Anonymous!
You see, Dev has a child he has never told Sunita about. Then it
turns out he could have another two children to a woman in his
Gorton shop. And yet another to a woman in his Openshaw shop. It's
ridiculous. That man can't keep his mouth shut about owt - he even
admitted to sleeping with Deirdre - so, how're we supposed to think
he managed to keep all these secrets?
Sarah, meanwhile, is being a flirtatious little minx and trying to
bed Jason behind Violet's back. She thinks of all sorts of ways to
lure him to her house. I tell you, she's not a member of the
sisterhood, that one. I hope Violet throttles her - and then
Jason!
EMMERDALE Pollard dumps Val because her court case
could affect his chances of getting on the planning committee. And
they say older men understand chivalry.
Meanwhile, Adam is desperate to get Steph to agree to a date with
him. You can tell his speciality is clinical medicine not owt to do
with your head, can't you? When Val interrupts a potential clinch
Steph grabs her by the hair and warns her to stay away from
him.
Dawn and Danny are now attracted to each other. They don't seem to
have noticed each other before. Did their eyes meet over a bacon
butty laced with aphrodisiacs in the café?
And when Carl sees pictures of Chas with her Army mates he feels
jealous. Does this mean the stripping nun turned barmaid then
soldier will return? Oh, I do hope so.
EASTENDERS Hearing a noise in the bar, Phil creeps
downstairs and comes face to face with an unexpected visitor. Has
Santa come early? Then he and mum Peggy agree that they will have
to be straight with Sam about her future. "You're stuck in here
because you're acting can only be tolerated in alternate episodes,"
they should say.
