Emilene Coventry
24/ 4/2008

POLICE are hunting a gang of men who launched a vicious attack on two pals in Stalybridge town centre.

The unprovoked assault left one of them with a broken jaw. The 20 year old had to have a metal plate inserted to keep his jaw together and was left in agony.

Our "Esteemed" Council Leader, non other than a certain Roy Oldham, assures us that due to his party's policies the streets of Tameside are safer than ever !!!!!

Is this April Fools day Roy ???

CUT THE POLICE PAPERWORK , GET THEM BACK ON THE STREETS AND LET THEM DO THEIR JOB !!!!!, WE HINDER THE POLICE ALL TOO OFTEN BY POLITICAL CORRECTNESS AND MINDLESS BUREAUCRACY !!!!

It certainly come to something when you cannot go out for a peaceful night out. these thugs get away with it because the Law is soft, but that is legislated by the Government. it is high time we dealt with this sort of crime with the correct response to it, name, Shame, and a few lashes of the Birch should cure them.
