Hospitals lose baby units in shake-up
Yakub Qureshi8/12/2006
HEALTH bosses have voted to close maternity services in five Greater Manchester hospitals
Strange to see that the story in the TAMESIDE advertiser has no mention of the fact that Tameside hospital is one of the hospital keeping it's services! Get your priorities right

we would just like to say how happy we are to hear that tameside will not have its maternity and neo-natal unit
i have just given birth to my son 6 wks early and have to say how extremely happy we are to have received the care we got from tameside from the labour wards right down to security
everyone was has been great
especially in neo-natal where our little boy is doing really well
the staff are excellent and do a more than excellent job with all the babies we can say that we are both very at ease with leaving our baby there to be looked after as it is a hard thing to do we know he is being well looked after
so once again thanks
