COUNCIL bosses have sent a miserly message to Denton market traders: shut down your stalls after Christmas.

   I wouldn't say that Ashton had a flourishing market. Since the fire that gutted the indoor market, the outdoor market has slowly been getting worse.

   If the council sees Denton market as no longer viable. Will they be giving traders on the market the chance to have a pitch in either Hyde or Ashton. Both of which have flourishing markets?
