Care at hospital 'deficient'
Emilene White30/ 3/2007
A DAMNING independent report has today branded care at Tameside Hospital "seriously deficient".
MY grandfather was in Tameside hospital 2 weeks ago on ward 5.He couldn't of wished for better care!!!The staff on the ward were wonderful!!The staff not only took the time to care for him but were a great help to me and my family. You cannot tar all the staff with the same brush due to a bad report!!

The biggest reason for poor quality of care is government target driven.Staff do not have the time to carry out the necessary care because of the ever increasing demand for more and more patient throughput. The majority of staff are very caring and are often upset themselves at the compromised care that they are forced to deliver.Communication is often difficult as many areas rely on 'bank' or agency staff to fill the gaps, many of whom have difficulty with the English language.

What a total disgrace.
I am so angry !
This is just so unacceptable in a modern, civilised country like ours.
How can any person have confidence in this hospital ?
Shame on you Tameside Hospital.
The hospital chief should resign now. Go now!
