Can I first send my sympathy to Pauls family and friends..... I myself am a Biker and it saddens me when I hear of fatal accidents like this.

   Just found out about the accident and am shocked to find out that it was Paul.I have known Paul all my life as my elder brother was his best friend!! Paul will be sadly missed and the loss is felt throughout all who new him..My Heart goes out to his Family

   I just heard about the accident from my sister. Paul is a very old friend of ours and we were very shocked at the news of his death. He will be missed by a lot of people. I have not seen paul for some years. He will be sadly missed. We send our love and sympathy to all his family and friends.

   I was walking back from Hyde Utd on Sunday afternoon and heard the accident occur.

Living near the M67 you get used to the sounds of the Motorway and this was an unnatural sound, making the hairs on my arms stand up!

My thoughts go to the family and friends of this man.

I agree with the previous poster. This stretch of motorway appears to be a black spot. In the last 4 weeks I reckon I have driven past 4 accidents.

This is the first bit of open road after the grind through Mottram and it's downhill - so maybe that's why!

   I witnessed this on my way home. Not the actual accident but the police investigation. This is the third time I have seen a motorcycle accident in exactly the same spot. On average I travel up or down this piece of motorway 3 or 4 times a week at various times of the day and week. If I've personally seen 3 accidents like this in 7 years, it makes me wonder how many there have been in total. It seems obvious that there is some link and that this particular area of the motorway is flawed in some way.
