The police are not only useless they are powerless and in this case are utter morons.

I am disgusted with how they treated this man, I used to buy my games from him when I was a kid, he is a decent bloke and did not deserve this treatment.

Dave, do not stop until you have won a claim against these foolish officers, it will take time, but you will win.

There is a funny side to this, as you said yourself the funny side is how stupid and incompetent the police have been in this matter and like everyone, they should pay for their mistakes.

Ive been giggling since i read this story. Not funny for the guy involved, i realise, but a great story to dine out on.

I can imagine the comments down at the station too, some copper is going to get ribbed for the rest of his career.

The police's response was probably correct - up until the point where they realised what had happened. Unfortunately, by then Mr. Williams had commited what is a serious crime in every country in the world - making the police look foolish.

So they arrested him rather than apologise and laugh it off. Which made them look like COMPLETE fools.

How rude! this is a local paper for local people and we do not appreciate outsiders comin on here and insulting our people. For all you know, i could be related to this man, and you have insulted his very person. Obviously i am not a relative, cos he looks a bit shifty...but never the less...how rude!!!!!!
