I was wondering.... Were the wards in question on the acute trust side or the actually care of the elderly unit. I remember working on the Care of the elderly unit and the care and dignity offered to the patients was fantastic by all staff. I cannot coment of the Acute trust part of the hospital. Only suffice to say that the hospital was basically split between the acute trust.. ( the main part of the hospital) and Medical services for older people. ( acare of the elderly side.) So can we be more specific as to which wards were in question and whicgh wards were subject to the survey and report. It would be interesting to find out...
