- Audenshaw Road – Audenshaw – Construction of bus lane, until end of August 2008.
- Mellor Road – Ashton – Temporary road closure due to building works at Tameside Hospital. From 03/12/07 for 18 months. Diversions in place.
- Fitzroy Street – Ashton – Temporary road closure due to major building renovation works. From 31/01/08 for 18 months. Diversions in place.
- Welbeck Street South/ Fleet Street – Temporary road closure due to major building works. From 28/02/08 for 60 weeks. No diversion route will be in place.
- Bentinck Street/ Brook Street East/ Old Street – Ashton – Temporary road closure due to major building works. From 28/02/08 for 60 weeks. Diversion in place.
- Stamford Street West – Temporary road closure due to major building works. From 28/02/08 for 60 weeks. Diversions in place.
- Corporation Street – Stalybridge – Temporary road closure due to building works. From 17/03/08 for 12 months. Diversions in place.
- Marlborough Street/ Trafalgar Street -Ashton – Temporary road closure due to major building works. From 24/03/08 for 12 months. Diversions in place.

- Sunnyside Road – Droylsden – Temporary road closure. From 07/08/08 to 18/09/08. Diversion in place.
- Huddersfield Road – Stalybridge – Ducting works for pelican crossing, until end of August 2008.
