Woman hurt in car-park crash

A WOMAN suffered serious injuries after she was hit by a motorbike as she walked across a car park in Ashton.
The 44-year-old was crossing Snipe Retail Park car park when the bike collided first with her and then with two parked motorbikes.
She sustained serious injuries and was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary where she remains in a stable condition.
The motorcyclist, a 42-year-old man, was taken to Tameside Hospital with stomach injuries but they are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are appealing for information about the incident which took place at around 10.35am on Sunday, 4 November.
