Robbery terror for woman, 82

AN 82-YEAR-OLD woman has been left severely traumatised after she was thrown to the ground and robbed.
The pensioner was wheeling her shopping cart along Parkin Close, Dukinfield, when she was approached from behind by the attacker.
He first offered to help her then tried to open it but when she refused, he grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her to the floor.
He escaped with the victim’s bag containing her purse and keys.
Police are appealing for information about the robbery which took place on Tuesday, 30 October, around 10.30am. They are particularly keen to speak to a female who went into Bargain Booze on Concorde Way to tell staff about a man who was acting suspiciously in the area and begging on the street.
