Teen in baseball bat attack

5/12/2007

A TEENAGER was hit with a baseball bat by a robber who then tried to throw him into the canal.

The 16-year-old victim was walking across the canal bridge, near Gorseyfields, Fairfield Road, Droylsden when he was confronted.

The offender ordered the victim to empty his pockets but when he refused he was hit on the head with the bat until he surrendered.
