Girl raped on way home from school

A 13-YEAR-OLD girl was raped as she walked home from school.

The teenager was close to Atherton Avenue in Mottram, having walked through a cut through off Hyde Road, when she was dragged into a passing car by two men. She was raped by one of the men before she managed to struggle free and run home.

The attack took place on Monday, 10 December, at around 4.30pm.

The rapist was described as Asian, aged 20-30, 5ft 9ins tall and skinny with ginger hair, blue eyes and wearing dark clothes.

His accomplice, who held the girl down, was also Asian, in his 20s, shorter than the other offender and of medium build. He had black hair, blue eyes and was wearing black clothing with a hood pulled up over his head.

The car was described as light blue with four doors, no boot, square in shape with black leather seats and had a Mickey Mouse sun visor on the rear left window.

   A school girl is raped and it hardly makes the papers! Page 2 of The Advertiser and on this site it comes after stories about racing pigeons and the congestion charge.

Nothing to do with the alleged attackers being described as "Asisn" I hope?

   Bring back hanging! I hope these animals are caught soon. Alternatively,there is another way to teach these scumbags an expensive lesson - castration!! Get them off the streets. My heart goes out to the victim. I wish, with love & care from her family and professionals, she will get over this terrible ordeal.
