Four charged with attempted murder

FOUR people have been charged with attempted murder following a serious assault in Mottram.
Police were called to Ashworth Lane at around 4.15pm on Tuesday and found a 44-year-old man with a serious head injury. He was taken to Tameside Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Michelle Greenhalgh, 32, of Stringer Avenue, Hattersley; Kenny Robinson, 21, of Ashworth Lane, Mottram; Stuart Wilson, 47, of no fixed abode, and a 17-year-old boy from Mottram appeared before Tameside Magistrates Court on Saturday.
A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until 7 March pending further police inquiries.
