Murder probe after pub disturbance man dies

A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man died following an incident in Stalybridge.
Police were called to Grosvenor Street on 10.45pm on Saturday after reports of a disturbance outside the Grosvenor pub.
A man in his 30s was found with serious head injuries and was taken to Tameside Hospital, where he later died.
Formal identification has yet to take place. A post-mortem examination will take place shortly.
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody for questioning.
Inquiries are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the incident room on 856 9256.
