Man hurt in collision

A 26-YEAR-OLD man is in hospital with serious head injuries after he was hit by a car in Droylsden.
The collision took place on Market Street at around 11am on Thursday.
Firefighters, who were passing on their way to visit a nearby school, stopped and treated him at the scene until paramedics arrived and he was taken to Tameside Hospital.
