Lee’s feeling the blues over haircut

A DUKINFIELD barber is feeling blue about his latest haircut.

That’s because lifelong Manchester City fan Lee Thompson, has had to have ‘MUFC’ shaved into the back of his head after losing a bet.

City season ticket holder Lee, 53, who works at Graham’s Hairdressers on King Street, is known for his positive aspirations for the Blues.

So when customer and lifelong Man United fan Lee Lavis, 34, challenged him to put his money — or rather his hair —where his mouth is, he was eager to oblige.

"I’ve been coming in this barber’s for about 15 years listening to these predictions and they’ve never been right," said Lee Lavis, who is a United season ticket holder. This time he was saying City would end up in the top four, so I said if they don’t end up in the top six by the end of the season, you have to have MUFC shaved into your hair. The bet was if they were in the top six, I’d have MCFC shaved in mine."

Lee Thompson, who even has a Manchester City tattoo on his arm, has not been out since his cut on Monday night.

He said: "I promised the lads in the local that I’d go in and let them have a laugh. I go in the Astley in Dukinfield, they’re all United fans. My wife eventually saw the funny side after not speaking to me for three days!"

Lee Lavis added: "I’m disappointed with it really. I thought it could’ve been a bit deeper. I wanted to do it with my blow torch!"

   Missed his chance here .......

He should have shaved "8 - 1" instead !!!

Lol

On the subject of that match ........ I have heard rumours that it was the City players way of showing their disgust at the treatment of their manager by the Clubs owner .... anyone know if there is any truth in this ???
