Post offices face the axe

SIX Tameside post offices face the axe under the government’s latest round of closures.

The following branches have been earmarked for closure: Edge Lane PO, Manchester Road, Droylsden; Market Street PO, Moorside Street, Droylsden; West End PO, Katherine Street, Ashton; Denton Road PO, Audenshaw; Cheetham Fold PO, Cheetham Fold Road, Hyde; Mottram Road PO, Mottram Road, Stalybridge.

In total 2,500 will be axed across the country by September.

   They should stop paying for the expensive adverts with all the actors and save all that money so they could practice what they preach.
