Security guard robbed

A SECURITY guard was assaulted and robbed as he filled up a cashpoint in Ashton.

The guard was crossing the forecourt of Shell petrol station, on Stockport Road, when a man pushed him from behind before snatching the box and running off.

The incident happened at around 9.30am on Saturday and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

   what a good days work. crime doesn't pay.who said that,was it Dick Turpin.the case was not hand cuffed to the guards arm, had the case been fitted with a coloured dye.what a good days work.
