Suspected murder victim named

A SUSPECTED murder victim who was found dead at her home in Hyde has been named by police as 52-year-old Linda Coy.

Paramedics were called to the home on Bradley Green Road shortly after 7.45pm on Wednesday July 23, and they alerted police.

A murder investigation was launched and a post mortem examination was carried out, but the results were said to be inconclusive.

A 55-year-old man from Hyde was arrested on suspicion of murder and questioned. He has been bailed until September 29 pending further inquiries.

   I understand what the womens Aid are saying about domestic abuse but do they understand that alot of women fear reporting their partner for violence against them because if they have young children the police get in touch with the Social service and instead of the help and support they needed end up losing their children this is not fighting domestic violence and does not help the fight against abuse because they still remain Victims and for other women it remains a taboo Subject what goes on behind closed doors remains behind closed doors if their was a better System Maybe Men would think twice before inflicting Violent abuse on Women because their is no real excuse.

Be very careful here ..... You are assuming that this is a case of domestic violence .... Although I agree with you that this is totally unacceptable no further news on this tragic event has yet been issued ....
