Warehouse torched three times

A DISUSED warehouse has been targeted by firebugs three times in a week.

Firefighters were called to the property, on Halton Street, Hyde, at 2pm and 8.20pm on Monday and again at 2.20am on Wednesday.

Yobs had torched whatever they could find including rubbish and gas cylinders.

Steve Twinn, watch manager at Hyde station, said: “It’s a dangerous building which is in danger of collapse.

“People should be aware that it’s not safe to play inside and if they are caught starting fires they could get charged with arson.”

Residents are being asked to be vigilant and report any information or suspicious behaviour to police. Call 8725050 or Crimestoppers, free and anonymously, on 0800 555111.

Whilst these idiots are having fun torching this building, do they realise or care that they are actually taking the emergency services away from possible " real life and death incidents " Lets hope they never want the fire service in a hurry.
