Two arrested in drugs raid

Police have arrested two men following the execution of a drugs warrant in Glossop.
Officers raided an address in Graphite Way, Hadfield yesterday morning (Thursday, October 2) and found about 1,700 cannabis plants.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 39-year-old man on suspicion of growing cannabis.
Inspector Gareth Meadows, who is in charge or policing in Glossop and New Mills, said: "We searched this address after receiving vital information from the community that drugs may be preset there.
"I would urge anyone with information about drugs in their community to contact us or Crimestoppers so we can take action."
