19/11/2008
WACKY lessons were the name of the game when childcare students dressed up to raise cash for Pudsey.
The first year students dressed up for the day to get into the Children in Need spirit at Ashton Sixth Form College.
Head of department, Guy Marshall, said: "They were sponsored to look a bit silly for the day and many of them made their own costumes, which was brilliant.
"We didn’t have a ‘best dressed’ competition because everyone put their heart and soul into it, so it wouldn’t have been fair to pick one out. We haven't got it all in yet, but there was £200 collected on the day and we have about £1,000 pledged in sponsor money, so we expect to exceed £1,200 in total."
