THE family of a young bricklayer who died in a car crash with his best friend have spoken of their loss.
Lee Hollingworth was just 20 when he died in a crash while travelling in a car between Buxton and Glossop at the end of September. His best friend, Jordan Singleton, 18, also died.
Lee’s sister, Carrie, paid tribute to her brother, who was known as ‘Base’ by many of his friends.
"He was always with his friends," said Carrie.
"He used to love going out with his friends at the weekend. They loved listening to music, mainly bassline music. He was always smiling, he was cheeky and always making people laugh. He always had a bottle of Bud in his hand. I’ve got two kids, and he was forever playing with them. He spent quite a lot of time at mine, and we used to go down to my grandad’s and he was always playing with the kids then."
Lee lived with his mum, Janet, and granddad, Lewis, on Boston Street in Hyde.
He had trained as a bricklayer for three years at Tameside College, and before that was a student at Stamford High in Ashton and at Arundale Primary in Hattersley.
"There were T-shirts printed for his funeral with RIP Base and RIP Lee. Some of his friends had their own tracksuits made, and some of them had pictures printed with Lee and Jordan as they were friends with them both," said Carrie.
"The hardest thing is knowing I’m not going to be able to see him again, that’s hard to accept. Not having children and never seeing him get married, everything really. He was so young."

We has humans make mistakes in life, Unfortunately some of are actions are irreversible, These two young men have payed the ultimate price for there actions. I hope there family's can find piece, And i hope the individuals who have been posting these hypocritical comments, don't find there selves in the same situation, Due to there selves/Kids making an "Irreversible Choice" In life.
R.I.P Boys,

Let me expand your vocabulary with a new word- 'consiquence.' The general public are sick and tired of hearing realtives defending anti social behaviour of their criminal relativers.
Lee died because according to news reports he died while driving a stolen car a high speed.
The only people who should be writing in anger are those individuals who have lost realtives to speeding inconsiderate car theives like Lee and his friend, who decided that a bit of high speed 'Twoking' is fun.
He died as a consiquence of his actions , and while I am sure your are greaving consider the grief of familes who lose loved ones to selfish self gratifying idiots. It is they who are the victims not people like Lee

There are some crimes, such as this one, where innocent people could have been injured or killed.
Joy riding, drink driving, drug driving, excessive speeding and high speed lane swapping on motorways are all crimes that should be taken more seriously by the Government and the police because they are selfish and reckless.
Crimes where the perpetrator has clearly shown an 'I, Me, Myself' attitude with a complete disregard for other peoples safety should face stiffer penalties than they currently do.
Also we are sick of a media that refuses to print the truth and tell the facts.

Hard working individuals are equally as fed up with their property being stolen and wreaked because some individuals want a bit of a laugh.
The only consolation is that I and my family won’t have to worry about being killed or maimed by these two car thieves.
