Pedestrians injured in BMW accident

AN 18-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested for dangerous driving after his car veered off the road and hit two pedestrians.

The motorist, who was driving a BMW coupe, injured the pair when his car mounted the pavement on Denton Road in Audenshaw.

A 20-year-old woman fractured her elbow and leg and a 19-year-old had cuts to his elbow and a fractured ankle. The driver and passenger also suffered minor injuries.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving but has since been released pending further inquiries.

Anyone with information about the collision, which took place at around 3.15pm on Saturday, is asked to contact police on 856 8473.

   was ella and stacey there at the accident to no how the driver was driving. this was an accident and accidents happen..............hope you are feeling better soon claire.................and my love goes to the driver x x
