Glass attack left victim with 2in hole in face

A MAN was left with a two inch hole in his face after being viciously attacked by a gang wielding a plastic bag full of broken glass.
Five men and a woman hit the 19-year-old over the head with a bread crate before swinging a bag full of glass at his face on Warrington Street, Ashton.
The men were all aged between 18 and 20. One attacker was described as 5ft 8in man, of mixed-race, possibly Afro-Caribbean with a moustache, tight curly black hair wearing a brown, yellow and white checked shirt with no left arm.
A man with a Liverpudlian accent, slim build, 6ft, wearing jeans and 5ft 6in, chubby man with a short back and sides, wearing a black coat with dark trousers joined him.
The woman also had a Liverpudlian accent and had shoulder length hair. The other two attackers were not described.
