Woman foils burglars

A WOMAN disturbed burglars in her Ashton home before they could steal anything.
The 27-year-old victim returned to her house in Westmorland Avenue to see three offenders, including a woman, making their getaway after trying to force a door.
Police are hunting a white female, short ginger hair, a scar on the right side of her face, in her early 20s, 5ft 5ins tall, wearing a green winter coat, jeans and gloves. She was with two white men.
One of which was 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, a thin face, side burns. long black hair, wearing a baseball cap with an 'NY' motif, a black bubble jacket and black jeans.
The incident occurred on December 11.
