A priceless charity gesture from little birthday girl Jordan

NO Barbies for me this year mum!
Jordan Speake, of Swallow Close, Carrbrook celebrated her fifth birthday last weekend, but instead of accepting toys as presents she asked friends to donate to a local children's charity.
Her mum Alison said: "Her father donates to the Lennox cancer charity through his business and whenever they would ring him Jordan would ask who they were and what they did. One day she just decided she didn't want anything for her birthday and instead raised the idea of collecting money for them.
"I'm really proud and Marilyn at the charity said it's the first time she's heard of a child offering to donate all their birthday money. She was gobsmacked!"
Jordan and her friends raised £175 for the charity to go towards building a holiday home in the Lake District for deserving children.
