MUSIC maestros: John and Christine Caton with Tony Wright (centre)
Pay and play for fund
9/ 7/2004
OWNERS of the market hall's Music Corner shop are urging people to blow their flutes, bang their drums or sing their favourite football chant to raise money for the Phoenix Fund.
John and Christine Caton Greasley have set up a 'practiceathon' so people can be sponsored for the hours they spend practising their chosen instrument or song.
"We've chosen this because anyone can get involved - individuals, bands or choirs," said Christine. "All they need to do is decide on a two-week period from now until September, get a sponsor form and make a note of every time they practice."
