Last chance

8/ 9/2004

IT'S your last chance to add your voice to our Metrolink campaign before your comments are presented to Downing Street.

All your comments, letters and pledges of support will taken to the Prime Minister in the next few days.

A delegation representing the public, the business community, the media and MPs are heading down south to hand over a further detailed submission of the scheme, its economic and regeneration benefits, and an alternative funding package for delivering it.

Support for the expansion of Metrolink - Greater Manchester's light rail network - across the county has been overwhelming since the Secretary of State for Transport, Alistair Darling announced the plans were not approved .

So get those petition forms in NOW!
