Teenager in sex assault

A TEENAGE girl was sexually assaulted by a man who abducted her from the street in what police say was a "terrifying ordeal".
The man stopped and offered the 17-year-old a lift in Ashton as she walked home early on Sunday morning.
When she refused he dragged her into his car before sexually assaulting her.
Police said the girl was screaming and fighting to get out of the car. They are urging witnesses to come forward.
The man was Asian, aged in his 20s, with dark shaved hair and was driving a white or cream-coloured Mini with black seats.
He pulled up alongside the girl on Whiteacre Road at about 4am and drove off when she refused to get in his car.
When he returned, he dragged her into the car, locking her in.
He drove onto Queens Road, King Street and then to a residential area where he dragged her down an alleyway and sexually assaulted her.
The man then dropped her off at Arlies Street.
