Professor is care expert

THE professor who wrote the Shipman report is a former GP, famed internationally for care research.
Prof Richard Baker of the University of Leicester was approached to conduct the patient audit following his work for the Clinical Governance Research and Development Unit.
A university spokesman said: "He has developed an internationally recognised programme of research into quality of care."
