he has been 'overwhelmed' by the generosity of people in Tameside
offering him a new home.
AN ASYLUM seeker who found a safe haven among parishioners in
Ashton after being tortured in his home country has been told he
may have to leave Tameside.
TAMESIDE residents as young as one joined teenagers and
pensioners to show their support for an asylum seeker who has
worked tirelessly as a volunteer.
STAFF at Tameside Volunteer Bureau are urging residents to
recognise the good work asylum seekers do in the community and
support Innocent Nkung at an awareness event on Saturday.
