League’s Golden handbook

ASHTON Sunday Football League officials are hoping that former members can contribute to their 50th anniversary season.
The Ashton and District league celebrates its Golden anniversary in the season 2008-2009 and press secretary Steve Barrow is appealing for information and contributions for a commemorative handbook.
All contributions from players, clubs and administrators, especially photographs, would be most appreciated.

The Ashton & District SFL is seeking new members from a range of sources. Prospective new members should contact league secretary Neil Elliott on 0161 794 2969 or 07901 712437.
ON Wednesday, March 5, the league’s open-age representative team will face the Rochdale Sunday Football League in the semi-final of the Greater Manchester Sunday League Cup.
The game takes place at Springfield Stadium, Kingsway, Rochdale. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
