Barnstormer Farnell wins mighty clash

BOXING: Anthony Farnell managed to stop tough Pavel Melnikov in a 12-round epic.
Farnell - under the guidance of Billy Graham at the Phoenix Camp - produced a blistering display to finally topple his light-middleweight opponent.
Melnikov caused problems with some impressive blows and, at a stone lighter, was nimble on his feet.
But Farnell upped the tempo late on, after doing enough in the middle rounds to go ahead on points.
