Hyde blew a goal-lead in this re-arranged UniBond League Cup group game at Ewen Fields on Monday evening.
Manager Dave Nolan was delighted when the Tigers took the lead with a Lee Matthews goal in the 44th minute.
But the visitors hit back with a second half, two-goal salvo.
Brendan Aspinall levelled matters in the 56th minute, while Andy Makin sealed the clash with the winner nine minutes from time.
On Tuesday night Droylsden entertain Emley at The Butchers Arms in a league cup group six game.
