Boxing Day bonanza

24/12/2001

SOCCER: All seven local sides are back in action on Boxing Day.

From the seven sides, only three are at home - Droylsden, Ashton United and Glossop North End.

The Bloods entertain Runcorn, the Robins host Kendal Town and Glossop face Congleton Town.

Stalybridge travel to Leigh RMI in the Conference, while Hyde United face the tough trip to Altrincham.

In the North West Counties division one, Mossley travel to Flixton while Curzon head west to Salford City.

Meanwhile, Droylsden returned from Altrincham's Moss Lane with a hard earned point.

The Bloods finished 2-2 with David Kerr and Aeon Lattie scoring. On target for the Robins was Kevin Hulme (2).
