Celtic triple boost
28/ 3/2002
SOCCER: Stalybridge Celtic have made a triple-signing coup, just days after Dave Miller became Celtic manager.
In the space of 48 hours, Miller has picked up two new strikers and a midfielder.
Anthony Shandran joins up on a month's loan from Burnley and follows a similar spell at Dublin-based St Patrick's.
Clarets boss Stan Ternent is hoping the front man will get first team experience with the Celts, having made one appearance for Burnley - against Crewe Alexandra last season.
Dave Walsh is the second striker signing and joins from Rochdale on schoolboy forms.
Completing the trio is midfielder Phil Trainor, a Crewe Alexandra player moving on a month's loan.
