A Grand day out

LAS Vegas' fabled MGM Grand Garden Arena has been announced as the venue for Ricky Hatton's career-defining fight against Floyd Mayweather Jnr on Saturday, December 8.

Having finally secured the fight he has been craving for some time, Hyde's undefeated 'Hitman' is keen to make his mark at a venue when he comes face to face with the similarly unbeaten and self-styled 'Pretty Boy'.

He said: "It's always been a dream of mine to fight at the MGM Grand and now I'll finally get my chance."

"The MGM Grand has been the home to so many great champions and so many great fights.

"To fight Floyd Mayweather in that famous ring will push me even harder to live up to such a legacy."
